About Rohan

Rohan Avalur is a junior in the Science and Engineering Magnet Program at Manalapan High School with a strong passion for computer science and cybersecurity. He co-founded the first Red Cross Chapter at his school and serves as its co-president, organizing events to promote disaster preparedness and community service. As Vice President of the HOSA Chapter, Rohan has successfully expanded club membership and coordinated various health science-related activities. His technical skills include computer programming, cybersecurity, machine learning, and robotics, and he has participated in numerous projects and competitions, including developing AI-powered applications and engaging in national cybersecurity challenges.

Outside of academics, Rohan has accumulated over 300 hours of volunteer work. He has been actively involved with the Sri Guruvayoorappan Temple, Red Cross, and CentraState Hospital, contributing to community events, disaster relief efforts, and hospital food services. His work experience includes roles at Kumon and The Tutoring Center, where he helps students excel in math and English. Through his diverse experiences and commitment to community service, Rohan aims to make a positive impact and inspire others.
