About Khushi

Khushi Patel is a senior at Ranney High School. Ever since 7th grade, she has dedicated herself to making a difference during the COVID-19 pandemic by partnering with local restaurants to prepare meals for frontline workers. This initiative not only nourished those on the front lines but also strengthened community ties. Additionally, she organized donations of medical kits to rural and impoverished communities, collaborating with health clinics and hospitals to ensure essential supplies reached those in need. In total she has contributed to 2,500 meals and was recognized with winning the Gold Presidential Service Volunteer Award. 

 

At Ranney, she is the co-president and founder of HOSA and apart of eight honor societies.  Her passion for public health extends to her research contributions, and she has actively presented and contributed her work and ideas at various universities and conferences. As the youngest member serving on health boards, she remains committed to empowering others and advocating for healthier communities. Through Bandage Buddies, she strives to create lasting positive change in the lives of individuals and families.
